SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heated aerosol generating product. The heated aerosol-generating product contains a rod of an aerosol-generating substrate containing a first plug of homogenized tobacco material containing a substance for aerosol formation and a second plug of homogenized tobacco material containing a substance for aerosol formation. Moreover, the first plug and the second plug are aligned coaxially with the abutment of the end to the end. The first plug is placed further downstream relative to the second plug. The first plug and the second plug differ from each other in at least one of the density and composition of the substance for the formation of an aerosol in such a way that the first plug has a lower activation temperature than the second plug. Thus, when the aerosol-generating substrate is heated under the same conditions inside the same aerosol-generating device, the first plug releases the aerosol after a shorter time than the second plug.
EFFECT: ensuring control over the properties of the aerosol-generating substrate and the tightening profile of the aerosol-generating product, stable delivery of the aerosol over time.
