SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heated aerosol generating product and an aerosol generating system. The heated aerosol generating product is intended for the use with an aerosol generating device having a heating element, and it contains a rod of aerosol generating substrate, a heating control component located further along a flow relatively to the rod of aerosol generating substrate, and a fusible element. The fusible element is located inside the heating control component in such a way that one or more longitudinal channels for an air flow through the heating control component are provided. The fusible element is made with the possibility of fusion, when heated to a temperature above a threshold temperature, so that, when fusing the fusible element, one or more longitudinal channels for an air flow through the heating control component are capped, and, thus, flowing of an air flow through the aerosol generating product is prevented.
EFFECT: prevention of the use of an aerosol generating product with an incompatible aerosol generating device and, in particular, with an incompatible device, which heats aerosol generating substrate to a higher temperature than intended.
