In a method that includes assessing animals by type and origin, body measurements, live weight, conformation, milkiness of mares, adaptive qualities and offspring quality, a preliminary assessment is carried out at the age of 2.5 years and filly is selected with a live weight of at least 345 kg and body measurements - height at the withers not less than 136 cm, oblique body length not less than 137 cm, chest girth not less than 162 cm, metacarpus girth not less than 16.5 cm, with a massive index of not less than 137.45%, and colts with a live weight of not less than 375 kg, with body measurements - height at the withers not less than 137 cm, oblique torso length not less than 137 cm, chest girth not less than 163 cm, metacarpal girth not less than 17.5 cm, with a massive index of not less than 145.91%, in in the future, mares of the first lactation with a live weight of at least 450 kg and body measurements are finally selected for selection - height at the withers not less than 143 cm, oblique body length not less than 150 cm, chest girth not less than 180 cm, metacarpus girth not less than 19.5 cm , with a massiveness index of at least 154.10%, cupped udder shape, conical teats, teat length 3.0-6.0 cm, with a daily milk yield in the third month of lactation of at least 7.5 kg, and stallions with a live weight of at least 500 kg and body measurements - height at the withers not less than 147 cm, oblique torso length not less than 156 cm, chest girth not less than 180 cm and metacarpal girth not less than 20.0 cm, with a massiveness index not less than 157.72%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase breeding animals for meat production.
