METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF CERVICAL DYSPLASIAS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01N33/58 C12Q1/6806 C12Q1/686 C12Q1/6876

Abstract RU 2788860 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to gynaecology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of cervical dysplasias. RNA is isolated from the cytosmear. Two microRNA molecules: miR-451-5p and miR-200a-3p are studied by the RT-PCR method. The ratio of the relative concentrations thereof is calculated. If miR-451-5p/miR-200a-3p<1.7, normal cervical epithelium or mild cervical dysplasia is diagnosed. If miR-451-5p/miR-200a-3p≥1.7, severe dysplasia with a high risk of cervical cancer is diagnosed.

EFFECT: higher accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of differential diagnosis of cervical dysplasias due to the calculation of the ratio of relative concentrations of miR-451-5p and miR-200a-3p.
