SUBSTANCE: in the present invention, aerosol generating product (10) is proposed for creation of inhaled aerosol, when heated. The aerosol generating product contains: a hollow cylindrical rod of aerosol generating substrate (12); a wrapper surrounding the rod; hollow tube (14) passing along a longitudinal axis of the rod and forming central channel (16) for an airflow in the aerosol generating product, wherein the hollow tube contains at least one hole (18) passing through a tube wall, so that aerosol generating substrate in the rod communicates via fluid through the specified hole with the central channel for an airflow. The ratio between the total cross-sectional area of the specified set of holes and a cross-sectional area of the central channel for an airflow is from about 0.042 to about 0.672.
EFFECT: obtainment of an aerosol generating product.
