SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication technology. The method is performed by a terminal configured with a plurality of resources to request upon beam failure. The beam failure request resource set contains uplink physical control channel resources for beam failure request configured for serving cells in the serving cell group set configured for the terminal. The method includes detecting if there is a first secondary cell that has a beam failure; and, if yes, selecting from the plurality of beam failure request resources one resource for beam failure request as the resource for transmitting the beam failure request according to whether the first secondary cell with the beam failure request resource is configured. In the case where the first secondary cell is not configured with a beam failure request resource, selection of one beam failure request resource from a plurality of beam failure request resources is performed by selecting a beam failure request resource configured for one serving cell in the group. serving cells to which the first secondary cell belongs.
EFFECT: allowing resources to be allocated to a request in the event of a beam failure.
