FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to rolling stock disc brake holder manufacturing method. A rolling stock disc brake holder manufacturing method includes a filler wire layer-by-layer electric arc building up on the prepared metal substrate in accordance with created 3D model, with the filler wire with a diameter of 0.8-1.2 mm and building up rate of 14-20 m/h. The electric arc building up is performed in shielding gas medium at a flow rate of 6-12 l/min, at the current rate of 60-250 A and the voltage of 17-23 V. The obtained product is subjected to thermal and mechanical treatment.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility to improve the rolling stock disc brake holder quality and reduce time required to manufacture it via performance of filler wire material layer-by-layer electric arc building in shielding gas environment.
