FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additive manufacturing technologies and can be used for the thin-walled metal product manufacturing and restoration by the filler wire electric arc surfacing. After preliminary mechanical cleaning and fixation of metal base there performed is step-by-step electric arc surfacing of filler wire with diameter dw 1.0-1.2 mm in atmosphere of protective gas. At the first stage there deposited is 1 or 2 metal layers with width from 3 to 5 mm with continuous supply of filler wire in the mode with current force I equal to 130-170 A and arc voltage U equal to 17-19 V. Method comprises technological exposure of obtained metal layer to temperature TO 70-80 °C. At the second stage layer-by-layer surfacing of metal item is performed till its required geometry is achieved by forming metal layers with width of 2-3 mm with pulse supply of filler wire at current force I equal to 110-150 A and arc voltage U equal to 11-13 V. Method comprises holding each weld metal layer to temperature TH 50-70 °C. Now, produced metal article is cooled in still air and subjected to final machining.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain metal articles with a wall thickness of not more than 3 mm while reducing the material consumption of the metal articles and simplifying the additive manufacturing process.
