SUBSTANCE: main pathologically hypertrophied rhinophymomatous array is removed using the electroradiosurgical method. In this case, the exposure power is 35–36 watts. Then, layer-by-layer grinding of the wound surface is performed with entry into the zone of the demarcation line using laser CO2 radiation in a superpulse mode with a power of 2.5–3 W. In this case, the scanning device SHARPLAN 780 Surgi Touch is used.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of treatment of moderate and severe rhinophyma, forming a uniform wound surface with minimal inflammation, including in the demarcation line, provision of a good cosmetic result of treatment, reduction of the duration of the patient's stay in the hospital.
