SUBSTANCE: radio engineering, can be used in creation and modernization of means for monitoring reliability of navigation measurements generated by the consumer's navigation equipment (CNE) of the satellite radio navigation system (SRNS) of an aircraft (AC). In claimed method the decision on unreliability of the navigation measurements generated by the SRNS CNE is made as a result of identifying a discrepancy between the aircraft altitude measured by the CNE and the altitude obtained as a result of smoothing the altitude values measured by the barometric altimeter and the inertial navigation system. This makes it possible to reduce the dependence of the decision made on the influence of meteorological conditions on the aircraft altitude measurements generated by the barometric altimeter and, as a result, increase the probability of correct monitoring of reliability of navigation measurements generated by the SRNS CNE.
EFFECT: increasing the probability of correct monitoring of reliability of navigation measurements generated by the SRNS CNE.
