SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to model chronic toxic nephropathy in experimental animals. The method includes administering to rats a solution of antimony chloride through a tube into the stomach once a day daily for two months at a dose of 3 mg/kg on the metal basis, where 0.3 mg of antimony on the metal basis in contained in the solution unit equal to 1 ml.
EFFECT: invention ensures the development of nephropathy in rats due to the optimal dose and duration of exposure to the metal, which can be used in the search for means for the prevention and treatment of this pathology.
