FIELD: cell biology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for stimulating the production of neurotropic growth factors by neuroglial cells in vitro. To implement this method, the cells of the subventricular zone of the cerebral hemispheres are cultivated in a special culture medium MACS Neuro Medium for 2 days in a CO2 incubator at 37°C, 5% CO2 and 100% air humidity adding a stimulant. Janus kinases (JAKs) inhibitors are used as a stimulant at a concentration of 100–200 nmol.

EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of effective methods for stimulating the production of neurotrophic growth factors by neuroglial cells in vitro and simplifying the method.
