To achieve a technical result in the claimed solution, the area of the main object and the background area in the image are determined based on the category of the object in the image and the neural network; preserving the color of the main object area in the image and performing black and white color processing or blur processing in the background area in the image, determining the first mask of the first category of objects and the second mask of the second category of objects based on the neural network, the first mask defining the area of the main object, and the second mask defines the background area, and the first category of the object contains an object from a given category of objects; and the second category of the object is the background.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the target area and the background area.
