FIELD: magnetic fields.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for creating strong magnetic fields and can be used in a physical experiment, including for modelling superstrong magnetic fields in outer space, modelling astrophysical processes in "laboratory conditions", etc. The technical result consists in obtaining strong magnetic fields in mesoscale dielectric particles. It is achieved by the fact that the method used to create strong magnetic fields in mesoscale particles consists in the formation of a system of electrical conductors and the passage of electric current through them, while electric currents along a closed trajectory are created in the optical vortices inside a spherical dielectric particle formed and arising when the formed monochromatic radiation is irradiated by a spherical a dielectric particle made of a transparent material for the radiation used with a mesoscale diameter, excitation of high-order superresonant Mie modes in the particle, and formation of magnetic and electrical hot spots around the poles of the spherical particle along the radiation propagation direction.
EFFECT: obtaining strong magnetic fields in mesoscale dielectric particles.
