SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of generating strong magnetic fields and can be used in a physical experiment. Method of creating strong magnetic fields in mesoscale particles consists in the formation of optical vortices inside a spherical dielectric particle, which occur when the formed monochromatic radiation of the spherical dielectric particle is irradiated, the particle is made of transparent material for used radiation with mesoscale diameter, excitation in particle of super-resonant high-order Mie modes and formation of magnetic and electric hot spots around poles of spherical particle along direction of propagation of radiation, wherein the spherical dielectric particle is irradiated in pairs symmetrically and in phase towards each other by a laser multichannel system at the same frequency, or the frequency of one irradiated electromagnetic wave from the pair is selected at the other resonance frequency of radiation.

EFFECT: obtaining strong magnetic fields in mesoscale dielectric particles.
