SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A correction of the postoperative spherical refraction component is calculated during cataract extraction in a patient with an intrastromal ring implanted into a corneal graft. Calculation of optical power of an intraocular lens before cataract extraction in a patient with an intrastromal ring implanted into a corneal graft. It is necessary to correct for postoperative spherical refraction component towards myopia by formula: y=16.28-0.382×b, where y is an additive for myopic refraction to the planned postoperative spherical refraction component, dioptres; b is the mean preoperative keratometry according to the keratotopogram data, dioptres.

EFFECT: method enables to calculate for each preoperative average keratometry according to keratotopograph individual correction towards myopia to the planned postoperative spherical refraction component during cataract extraction in a patient with an intrastromal ring implanted into a corneal graft, which enables to calculate the optical power of the IOL with accuracy of 0.25 dioptres.
