FIELD: electrical communication.

SUBSTANCE: device for structural adaptation of the communication system is proposed, taking into account information losses, comprising meters-computers of bandwidths for the input traffic of the main and backup structures of the communication system, meters-calculators of the tangent of the angle of the band efficiency angle of the main and backup structures of the communication system, and the third controlled key. Additionally, the first controlled key, the first controlled delay line, the first and second comparison circuits, the first storage device and the seventh comparison circuit are introduced; also, serially connected third and fourth comparison circuits are additionally introduced, in addition, a second controlled key, a second controlled delay line, fifth and sixth comparison circuits, and a second storage device are additionally introduced.

EFFECT: maintaining the required efficiency of the information exchange of the communication system in accordance with the specified threshold value of the efficiency of information transmission in the extended bandwidth and ensuring acceptable information losses.
