SUBSTANCE: method comprises calculating a generalised parameter value - information transmission efficiency of the communication system for different inbound traffic intensity values from γin min to γin max with an interval Δγin, comparing said values with a threshold value of the information transmission efficiency of the communication system ηth and determining the interval [γin th1, γin th2], within which information transmission is provided in the communication system with efficiency not lower than the threshold.

EFFECT: determining an interval of inbound traffic in which a communication system operates with given information transmission efficiency, thereby providing given traffic efficiency.
