FIELD: medical composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical composite materials and preparations with biological activity and increased adhesiveness for applying to the surface of bone implants based on metal matrix, ceramic and other materials as a bioactive coating in the restoration and treatment of bone tissue and as a carrier of biologically active substances. A dry mixture is proposed based on hydroxyapatite for aqueous suspensions for coating on bone implants containing zirconium oxide, silicon dioxide and gelatin in the following ratio of components (wt.%): hydroxyapatite — 75÷79, zirconium dioxide — 4÷6, silicon dioxide — 12÷16, gelatin — 3÷5, wherein the particle size of the mixture is 10–50 µm. Also an aqueous suspension for coating on bone implants is proposed, in which the above dry mixture based on hydroxyapatite is used, when diluted with water in the following ratio (wt.%): mixture — 50÷60; water — 40÷50.
EFFECT: dry composite mixture is convenient for transportation and storage; after diluting it with warm water, it is well applied to the metal or ceramic surface of the implant and, after drying, becomes a bioactive coating for bone tissue restoration with high adhesion values.
