SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for producing a composite biomaterial based on hydroxyapatite, in which titanium metal powder with particle size of 20–40 mcm is dispersed, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: hydroxyapatite 80–90; titanium 20–10, which includes obtaining an initial powder mixture of hydroxyapatite and titanium metal with a particle size of 20–40 mcm, pressing at pressure of 20–25 MPa and subsequent annealing at temperature of 400–600 °C for 1–2 hours.

EFFECT: high mechanical hardness and stability of the composition of the composite biomaterial in the process of its production with provision of biocompatibility with bone tissue.
