FIELD: construction; mining.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a rock cutting device suitable for the construction of tunnels or underground passages, and in particular to a cutting device in which at least one cutting part is attached to a disk body by means of diffusion bonds. Circular knife for a cutting element used in a cutting device comprises an annular disc body made of a metal alloy or a metal matrix composite and having a first side, a second side located opposite the first side, and a radially peripheral part. At least one cutting part made of a metal alloy, metal matrix composite or cemented carbide, installed in the peripheral part of the disk body, surrounding it and protruding outward from it to interact with the rock during operation, while the specified at least one cutting part made of a material that has a higher wear resistance than the material used for the disk body. At the same time, at least one disk body and at least one cutting part are connected together by means of diffusion bonds. A method is also proposed, comprising the following steps: a) using at least one annular disk body made of a metal alloy, or at least one annular disk body made of a metal matrix composite, and at least one cutting part made of a metal alloy, or at least one metal matrix composite cutting part, or at least one cemented carbide cutting part; assembling said at least one disk body and said at least one cutting portion together; the conclusion of the specified at least one disk body and the specified at least one cutting part in the shell; removal of air from the shell; shell sealing; exposing the shell to a specified temperature above approximately 1000°C, taking into account the error depending on the means and method of measurement, and a given pressure from 30 MPa to 150 MPa for a given time. Also claimed is the use of said circular knife for mining ore veins, mining systems, cutting with an oscillating disk or cutting with a driven disk.
