FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine the parameters of the stress-strain state of railway rails from the impact of rolling stock wheels in curved sections of the track. The parameters of the stress-strain state of railway rails from the impact of rolling stock wheels in curved sections of the track are determined by organizing, in the initial period of operation on the circular part of the curve, measuring sections with a length of l 3≥ 13.5 m, which are equipped with at least eight test sections with sensors located at a distance of l 4≤ 1.5 m apart. Depending on the length of the circular part of the curve, one to three or more measuring sections are placed. The force factors acting on the rail are measured in at least three stages as the average lateral wear δcf of the outer rail increases, measured in the middle of the circular part of the curved section of the track at a length of at least 10 m every 1 m.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring the parameters of the stress-strain state of railway rails in curved sections of the track from the impact of the wheels of the rolling stock, achieved by taking into account the features of the actual formation of lateral wear of the rails and the reasonable placement of measuring sections with test sections along the circular part of the curved sections of the track.
