FIELD: medicine; oncology; radiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to increase the effectiveness of radiation therapy for melanoma. 1 hour before local irradiation at a dose of 10 Gy of the primary tumor focus of melanoma, the following is performed: simultaneous intravenous administration of AraC at a rate of 2.5 mg/mouse and hydroxyurea (HM) at a rate of 0.03 mg/mouse or only intravenous administration of AraC at a rate of 2.5 mg/mouse.
EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency of proton radiation when using combined methods of treatment of malignant neoplasms and can become the basis for the development and improvement of modern methods of radiation therapy.
