FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oncology and radiation therapy and aims at obtaining fundamental and applied data on the reaction of tumor cells of recurrences and metastases formed after previous ineffective course of radiation therapy, to repeated course of radiation therapy with protons. Method for formation of tumor cell culture resistant to protons involves irradiation in dose 6 Gy⋅eq, taking into account the value of relative biological effectiveness, wherein the cell culture is subjected to irradiation with electrons once a week to a total dose of 60 Gy or protons once a week to a total dose of 70 Gy (84 Gy⋅eq).

EFFECT: use of the invention enables comparative radiobiological studies aimed at elucidating and clarifying mechanisms of cellular radioresistance, screening anticancer preparations in aspect of their application in schemes of chemoradiation therapy and to develop effective treatment regimens of patients with recurrences and metastases that occurred after previous ineffective course of radiation therapy.
