SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine. Disclosed is a method for increasing the frequency of double-strand DNA stripping in human cells under the action of ionizing radiations in conditions of radio modifiers. As inhibitors of DNA repair before irradiation, a combination of formal preparations 1-β-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine and hydroxyurea.
EFFECT: invention provides higher effectiveness of radiation exposure on tumor cells and reduced local radiation dose.
