FIELD: hematology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for storing donated blood and its components. A method of storing non-cryopreserved autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cells suspended in a multicomponent anticoagulant solution without air inlet at a temperature of (+3)-(+5)°C for 3–6 days, provides for the use of a solution containing 61.0±3.0 mmol sodium chloride, 4.9±0.25 mmol potassium chloride, 1.45±0.25 mmol magnesium chloride, 6.65±0.15 mmol sodium dihydrogen phosphate, 17.1±0.1 mmol sodium hydrogen phosphate, 10.75±0.25 mmol sodium citrate and 17.0±5.0 mmol sodium fumarate per 1 liter of solution.
EFFECT: proposed method of storing non-cryopreserved autologous hematopoietic stem cells of peripheral blood ensures the preservation of the viability of CD34+ cells, colony-forming activity, and contributes to the timely restoration of hematopoiesis after a conditioning regimen of chemotherapy.
