SUBSTANCE: device for measuring the anteroposterior size of a bone defect during lateral bone decompression of the orbit, characterized by the following: it contains a 4.5×3.5×1.5 cm a body, on the front surface of which there is a 1.5×0.5 cm rectangular window and a L-shaped hook is rigidly installed, the short part of which is perpendicular to the front surface of the housing, inside the housing there is a rod in the form of a ruler 15 cm long with a pointed working end that can be moved, the rod is connected to the housing by means of guides located on the long sides of the window inside the case, while there is a score line on one side of the window.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of manipulation with obtaining more accurate values for measuring the anteroposterior size of the bone “window” during decompressions of the outer wall of the orbit.
