SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Operation is preceded by multispiral computed tomography of the facial skull. 3D model and an individual stereolithographic model repeating the topography of the lateral edge of the orbit are created on its basis. According to the model, an individual implant is made from a mixture of titanium powder "BT-6". Implant is placed anterior to the formed window in the area of the lateral edge of the orbit on the surface of the frontal process of the zygomatic bone and the maxillary process of the frontal bone, and fixed with the help of screws.

EFFECT: method enables preventing fractures of a portion of the frontal process of the zygomatic bone and the maxillary process of the frontal bone left after the formation of a window during lateral bone decompression of the orbit.
