FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: fibre-optic mechanical stress sensor comprises an extended frame located inside the frame parallel to its axis, at least one of the measuring elements, each of which includes a fibre-optic light guide, a luminescent element, whereas the luminescent element is made in the form of a combination of luminescent particles of two types – mechanoluminescent particles and fluoroform particles that are statistically uniformly distributed along the length of the optical fibre to form a mechanoluminescent optical fibre; fluoroform and mechanoluminescent particles have significantly different emission spectra.
