SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the prevention of a decrease in the strength and stiffness of the postural soleus muscles of a rat under conditions of functional unloading of the hind limbs by the method of anti-orthostatic suspension. The method consists in daily intraperitoneal administration of lithium chloride to rats at a dose of 40 mg/kg against the background of a 7-day anti-orthostatic suspension.

EFFECT: invention provides prevention of atrophy of muscle fibers and maintenance of strength and rigidity of the isolated soleus muscle.
