SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation apparatus, in particular, to an apparatus containing a temperature detector for determining the temperature of a current-collecting apparatus. Appliance for an aerosol generation apparatus comprises a resonant LC circuit containing an inductive element for induction heating of a current-collecting structure for heating the aerosol generating material so as to obtain an aerosol. The appliance comprises a switching apparatus for receiving a changing current from a DC voltage source and for the flow thereof through the inductive element, to cause the induction heating of the current-collecting structure. The appliance also comprises a temperature detector configured to determine the temperature of the current-collecting structure during use, based on the working frequency of the resonant LC circuit.

EFFECT: temperature of a current collector inductively heated using the inductive element of an LC resonant contour is determined by measuring the working frequency of the circuit.
