FIELD: medicine, gynecology, reproductive medicine and clinical embryology.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the increase in the motility of human spermatozoa during in vitro fertilization programs by using extracellular vesicles of the follicular fluid. The method involves the use of extracellular vesicles isolated by ultracentrifugation from 5 ml of follicular fluid, which are added to a Petri dish with oocyte-cumulus complexes and low-motile spermatozoa, 100,000 spermatozoa per 1 oocyte-cumulus complex, in the following ratio: 10 µl of vesicles to 100 µl of fertilization medium.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the motility of human spermatozoa during in vitro fertilization programs and is an effective method for working with sperm samples with asthenozoospermia in programs for the treatment of infertility by ART methods, which makes it possible in some cases to refuse the use of ICSI and at the same time increase the effectiveness of treatment.
