FIELD: pesticides.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing thifensulfuron-methyl (3-[(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)carbamoylsulfamoyl]thiophen-2-carboxylate), which is a selective systemic post-emergence herbicide. The method for obtaining the target herbicide consists in the interaction of 3-(aminosulfonyl)thiophene-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester with 2-(phenoxycarbonyl)amino-4-methoxy-6-methyltriazine-1,3,5 in an anhydrous polar organic solvent in the presence of an organic base at a temperature of 20-25°C for 1-2 hours in an inert gas atmosphere or in air without moisture access, followed by treatment of the obtained reaction mass with a mineral or organic acid to obtain the target product, its isolation and purification.
EFFECT: simplifying the hardware design, reducing the duration of the synthesis, increasing the safety of the process and obtaining the target product of high quality with a yield of 80 -85%.
