FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of systemic herbicides, specifically to a method of producing pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, which involves reacting ethyl 5-aminosulphonyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate with 2-(phenoxycarbonyl)amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine in polar organic solvent in the presence of an organic base at temperature of 20-25 °C for 1-2 hours. After that, the obtained reaction mass is treated with water and an acid to obtain the end product, its isolation and purification.
EFFECT: simplification and reduction of technical process duration of high-quality pyrazosulfuron-ethyl production with high yield, exclusion of use in it of hazardous reagents and high temperature.
