SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of active substances of pesticides, in particular herbicides from sulphonylureas. Method of producing herbicides from nicosulfuron sulfonylureas, rimsulfuron, flazasulfuron, trifloxysulfuron, flupirsulfuron-methyl, pyrazosulphuron-ethyl, halosulfuron-methyl, azimsulfuron, sulfosulfuron, imazosulfuron, propirisulfuron, foramsulfuron, mesosulfuron-methyl or bensulfuron-methyl, containing 4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl substitute of general formula I
includes reaction of 2-(phenoxycarbonyl)amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine with sulphonamide of general formula II
in a medium of a cyclic organic carbonate of ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate or a mixture thereof, in the presence of an organic base at temperature of 20-45 °C for 1-7 hours with subsequent treatment of the obtained reaction mass with water and acid to obtain the target product, its extraction and purification. Organic base used is 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene, 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene, triethylamine, tripropylamine, tributylamine, tripentylamine, diisopropylethylamine, triisobutylamine or N-methylmorpholine. Acid used is hydrochloric, sulphuric, phosphoric, formic, acetic or propionic acid.
EFFECT: disclosed method of producing herbicides from the class of sulfonylureas containing 4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl substituent provides improved technical and economic parameters of the process of producing herbicides from the class of sulfonylureas, due to the use of cyclic organic carbonates, increased safety, reduced amount of toxic process waste without deterioration of quality and reduction of the yield of the target product.
