SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the processing and disposal of old oil sludge and oil-contaminated land. The invention relates to a method for extracting hydrocarbons from the composition of oil sludge, in accordance with which the following is performed: a) preheating and grinding of oil sludge; b) preliminary mixing and dissolution of heated and crushed oil sludge with a solvent of composition No. 1 based on propane, isobutane, normal butane and their mixtures, including propane-butane mixture, pentane, hexane and their mixture, propane-pentane mixture, propane-hexane mixtures in the supercritical state; c) carrying out the first stage of extraction of hydrocarbons with the separation of the extractant of composition No. 1, the isolation of the raffinate and the extract of composition No. 1 containing valuable hydrocarbons; d) mixing the raffinate from the first stage of the extraction process with a solvent composition No. 2 in the supercritical state, which is selected from carbon dioxide or carbon disulfide; e) carrying out the second stage of the extraction process of valuable hydrocarbons with the separation of the extractant of composition No. 2, the isolation of the raffinate and the extract of composition No. 2 containing valuable hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of extracting a useful fraction from oil sludge.
