FIELD: photobiology and biomedicine.

SUBSTANCE: device for in vitro photodynamic action on biological micro-objects includes a square-section cuvette with a transparent wall, in which a sensitized liquid containing a photosensitizer and biological micro-objects is placed, a LED with a wavelength in the optical absorption spectral band of the sensitized liquid, a laser for excitation of the fluorescence of the photosensitizer, spectrally selective a photodetector and a light guide bundle containing at least two light guides, one of which is irradiating and connected to the laser output, and the other light guide is receiving and its end is connected to the input of the spectrally selective photodetector. The device additionally contains an optical system that projects images of the LED chip onto the entire surface of the liquid in the cuvette facing the light beam, the distal end of the light guide bundle is located at the outer side of the transparent wall in such a way that the distal ends of the irradiating and receiving light guides of the wall are perpendicular to the cuvette wall and lie in a plane, located below the level of the surface of the liquid facing the light beam parallel to it.

EFFECT: use of this invention will improve the efficiency of photodynamic exposure and will allow to control the characteristics of the photosensitizer and biological micro-objects in the sensitized liquid directly in the process of photodynamic exposure.
