SUBSTANCE: following is presented: a nucleotide sequence-based editing system encoding SuCas9_NLS protein as a tool for introducing targeted double-strand breaks in the DNA of an eukaryotic cell for editing the human genome, an expression vector and a method for editing the eukaryotic cell genomic DNA sequence.

EFFECT: genome editing system according to the invention is of great importance for gene therapy of human hereditary diseases.
