FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: device for forming a dose field during brachytherapy of centrally located intraocular tumors is designed to be fixed to an ophthalmic applicator (OA). The device includes a working part made of an inert biocompatible heavy metal and three fixing elements at the same angular distance. The working part is made in the form of a crescent-shaped plate, with a thickness of 0.5 to 2 mm, while the convex edge of the working part repeats the shape and size of the edge of the OA. The working part is configured to be attached to the surface OA facing the sclera, from the side of the fixing elements OA, symmetrically relative to them, and the fixing elements of the device are configured to be attached to the surface OA facing the surgeon.

EFFECT: use of this invention will make it possible to form a dose field of a given shape and size and determine the position of the irradiation boundaries for the central localization of the tumor.
