SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a new strain of foot-and-mouth disease virus Aphtae epizooticae genotype O/ME-SA/Ind-2001e, Picornaviridae family, genus Aphthovirus, deposited in the All-Russian State Collection of Exotic Types of Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus and Other Animal Pathogens (GKSM) FGBI ARRIAH under registration number No.417-dep/22-51 — GKShM FGBI "ARRIAH" strain O No. 2620/Orenburg/2021 genotype O/ME-SA/Ind-2001e of foot-and-mouth disease virus. The presented strain is reproduced in transplanted cell cultures of Siberian Mountain Ibex Kidney (PSGK-30), Pig Kidney (IB-RS-2), and Newborn Syrian Hamster Kidney (ВНК-21). In a continuous suspension culture of Syrian hamster kidney cells BNK-21/SUSP/ARRIAH for 12.30± 0.35 hours of incubation, the concentration of the 146S component of the strain O No. 2620/Orenburgsky/2021 genotype O/ME-SA/Ind-2001e of the foot-and-mouth disease virus has an average value of 1.80±0.14 μg/cm3 (68.72±0.70%), maintaining the initial characteristics when passaging in the new continuous suspension cell line BNK-21/SUSP/ARRIAH.
EFFECT: presented O No. 2620/Orenburg/2021 strain can be used for the production of biological products for the diagnosis and specific prevention of foot-and-mouth disease genotype O/ME-SA/Ind-2001e and for monitoring the antigenic activity of foot-and-mouth disease vaccines.
