FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to processes that make it possible to obtain valuable products from heavy residues. A method for processing heavy petroleum feedstock is proposed, including hydrocracking of the feedstock in the suspension phase (HSP) followed by separation into a feedstock stream subjected to HSP and a heavy residue stream, wherein the heavy residue stream is a suspension of unconverted high-boiling residue and spent coal additive; hydrocracking of raw materials subjected to HSP in the gas phase with subsequent fractionation of hydrocracking products; separation of spent coal additive and unconverted high-boiling residue using a solvent; sending the mixture of the unconverted high-boiling residue and the solvent after the separation step to a vacuum column to obtain a separated heavy residue; evaporating at least a portion of the separated heavy residue in a thin film evaporator to obtain a concentrated hydrocracking residue and heavy vacuum gas oil (HVGO); using at least a portion of the HSP to produce a solvent. The invention is also related to concentrated hydrocracking residue used as a sintering additive for carbon products and concentrated residue applications.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of obtaining valuable products from difficult-to-utilize products and to ensure the stabilization of hydrocracking processes of heavy petroleum feedstock.
