FIELD: medical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical diagnostics and is intended to predict the risk of developing preeclampsia (PE) in unrelated Russian individuals, a native of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation. Analysis of genetic markers of the UGT2B4 gene is carried out. A high risk of developing PE is predicted if the GA haplotype of the rs2013573-rs13111134 haploblock of the UGT2B4 gene is detected.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining criteria for assessing the risk of developing PE in pregnant Russians, natives of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation, based on data on the polymorphic loci rs2013573 and rs13111134 of the UGT2B4 gene.
