In unrelated Russian individuals, a native of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation, DNA is isolated from peripheral venous blood. An analysis of polymorphisms of the PPP1R12C gene differentially expressed in the placenta is carried out. An increased risk of developing PE is predicted by the detection of the CA haplotype of the haploblock rs2532058-rs66707428 of the PPP1R12C gene.

EFFECT: invention provides an effective method for predicting the risk of developing PE in pregnant women of Russian nationality, a native of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation.
