FIELD: aerosols.
SUBSTANCE: induction-type aerosol generating device. The aerosol generating device contains a housing with an open upper side and a space formed in it, a heating device installed in the housing space, a power supply, a detection resistor, and a controller. The heating device includes a resonant unit and a heat source unit that performs induction heating of the hollow heating space. The power supply supplies DC power to the inverter unit. A detection resistor is connected between the inverter unit and the resonant unit. The controller supplies the inverter control signal to the inverter unit and selectively detects or measures AC power in the detection resistor after a phase delay time relative to the inverter control signal has elapsed when the inverter control signal has a predetermined target measurement efficiency.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the alternating current supplied to the resonant unit.
