SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation device. An aerosol generating device comprises: a housing with an open top side and an insertion space formed therein; heating device (250) installed in the insert space of the housing, which forms a hollow heating space and transmitting or dissipating thermal energy to an aerosol-forming article inserted into the heating space to generate an aerosol; power supply unit (230); power supply unit (240) supplying power from power supply unit (230) to heating device (250) or disconnecting power supply to it in accordance with a control signal from processor (290); temperature sensor (264) detecting the temperature of the heating space, the aerosol-forming article or heating device (250) and transmitting the temperature detection value to processor (290); and processor (290) controlling the amount of energy supplied to heating device (250), controls so that the temperature value increases within the limit value of the temperature increase in accordance with heating device (250) heating operation execution time to maintain or limit the rate of increase of the determined temperature value at the level or to the specified value of the control rate of temperature increase. Processor (290) calculates the target temperature for each hour using the temperature rise limit and compares value of determined temperature for each hour with target temperature for each hour, and when the value of the determined temperature at the current moment in time exceeds the target temperature at the current moment in time or approaches the target temperature by a predetermined value, processor (290) reduces the power included in the control signal supplied to the power supply unit (240), supplies zero power or does not supply the control signal for a certain period of time.

EFFECT: uniform taste of aerosol is provided due to control over uniform increase of heating temperature rate.
