FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of preparing preparations of dentin of human teeth for biochemical studies is disclosed, characterized as follows: after extraction, the tooth is cleaned of bone and soft tissue fragments and fixed, then using diamond discs with a diameter of 6 mm and a thickness of 0.25 mm, the tooth is fragmented in the mesio-distal direction, the resulting part of the tooth is mechanically cleaned of pulp fragments with a curettage spoon and fixed with bainet surgical forceps at the proximal contacts, then the fixed part of the tooth is fragmented by immersing a diamond disk to a depth of not more than 2 mm, with an interval of not more than 2 seconds, using a caliper to control the thickness of the biopsy sample, then, departing from the enamel-dentin junction by 0.5 mm in the direction of the tooth cavity, a dentin biopsy is taken until a preparation up to 2 mm thick is obtained, after which the preparation is dried until visible moisture disappears using a cellulose napkin, placed in a Kohler bone mill and crushed until powdered within 3 minutes, the crushed medicinal product is placed in a disposable bag with a zip-lock clip 6×8 cm and delivered to the laboratory.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the preparation of tooth enamel preparations for subsequent high-precision biochemical studies under the control of sampling of its required thickness, degree of grinding, which makes it possible to investigate the entire spectrum of biochemical elements of tooth enamel, taking into account the pronounced variability of the macro- and microscopic structure.
