SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of culturing Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. The method involves perfusion culturing of CHO cells containing a nucleic acid encoding a recombinant protein under conditions sufficient to obtain the recombinant protein in a liquid medium, which is selected based on one or more factors selected from the following group: pore size, pore type, gas flow rate, density of viable cells in the medium and markers associated with cellular stress.
EFFECT: invention allows for efficient production of recombinant protein.
