SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of developing triple-negative breast cancer in women of the Russian nationality. DNA is isolated from peripheral venous blood and genetic polymorphisms rs17576-rs3787268 of MMP-9 gene are analyzed. When identifying the AA haplotype of polymorphic loci rs17576-rs3787268 of MMP-9 gene, a high risk of developing the triple-negative breast cancer is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides obtaining new criteria for assessment of the risk of development of triple-negative breast cancer in women of Russian nationality, natives of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation, based on data on polymorphic loci rs17576-rs3787268-rs17576-rs3787268-rs2250889-rs17577 of MMP-9 gene.
