FIELD: measuring equipment; electromagnetic radiation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiation receivers for detecting electromagnetic radiation in a wide spectral range, and can be used in measuring technology in terms of creating highly sensitive devices for non-contact temperature measurement, measuring the power of heat flows, certification of radiation sources and lasers, as well as in radiometry. The quartz thermal radiation detector uses a quartz crystal element, made in the form of an inverted mesa structure, with thin-film electrodes applied to its surface. According to the invention, the receiver uses contact springs made of a material with high thermal resistance (manganin), and the role of the sensitive element is performed by a quartz crystal element; an absorbent coating is applied to the surface of one thin-film electrode to prevent heat removal from the quartz crystal element; the internal volume of the radiation receiver housing is evacuated; opposite the electrode with an absorbing coating there is an entrance window made of a material transparent in the infrared range.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the receiver, reducing electrical interference during operation of the receiver, increasing the stability of the parameters of the radiation receiver over time, and simplifying the conversion of the output signal into a digital code.
