FIELD: measuring instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, the surface of the inspected product is scanned with physical field sensors, information signals of physical field radiation are measured from each point on the surface of the inspected product, and defects in the material are detected based on the analysis of the information sign of the defect corresponding to a change in the signal compared to the signal in the quality area. The product is moved using a scanning system relative to the information signal recording device. Continuously and simultaneously with the measurement of the physical field radiation signal, the signal-to-noise ratio is measured over the scanning segment. The signal/noise value in the controlled area of the product is continuously compared against the specified value δ during the scanning process. If the signal/noise value is less than or equal to δ, scanning is continued. If the signal/noise value is greater than δ, the presence of a defect is checked. If no defect is found in the scanned section, scanning continues in the next section. A system for automated non-destructive quality control of products of complex design is disclosed.
EFFECT: increase in reliability of the results of assessing the technical and operational condition of complex structures and their elements.
